Komeljit joined Painters Residential Property department in September 2020, having previously worked for many firms both as a fee earner and a locum Solicitor. She is a Qualified Residential Property Solicitor with over 21 years of experience.
Before entering the Legal Profession, Komeljit worked in Local Government for 12 years, her last role being a Principal Officer in Social Housing.
Komeljit attended Wolverhampton University, where she completed her law degree part-time whilst working for Wolverhampton Council as a Principal Officer. She pursued the Legal Practice Course while undertaking a one-year training contract with Bowater’s Solicitors in Dudley.
She believes in a caring and client-focused approach to legal issues, providing highly individual and personalised service emphasising clients’ needs.
In her spare time, Komeljit enjoys spending time with her family, watching psychological dramas, travel and dining out cinemas and politics. Embracing her Asian heritage and culture, Komeljit speaks Punjabi and cooks Asian dishes and also wears Asian Sari’s on occasion!
